wow, sorry i missed it even if it may be alittle beyond the remit ...
I have just read 'the ecology of money'(R. Douthwaite) and 'the nature of
economies'(jane Jacobs) , both very interesting ...Recommended for those
into the alternative economics ... The former is more of a review of the
state of things, the latter more of an analysis of how things work,
criticising the blind-spots of conventional economics. 

Not sure what it has to do with electricity, but then I missed the meeting
(my cold had come on much sooner and I was feeling very ill that evening.)
