some gear for sale from Public Loop, an organisation run by a friend of mine -
please forward to anyone you know who might be interested:

> "Public Loop is an organisation which brings music and video mixing to
> people who don't usually get a chance to try it. These people include
> prisoners, juvenile offenders, drug rehab patients, community groups.
> We've had great support from Brian Eno, Coldcut, and numerous
> software/hardware manufacturers. We have completed a 6 month course at
> a medium secure psychiatric unit, and are soon going to start our next
> course at a drug rehab centre on the south coast. Because of our
> increasing need to be mobile, we are moving over to doing everything on
> laptop computers. We are selling our existing gear: 2 Casablanca Avio
> video editors (with keyboards and trackball controllers), 2 14"
> TVs/monitors, and 2 Yamaha SU700 samplers. Both SU700s have a full 68mb
> ram, and the SCSI expansion board, and one has the 8 analog output
> expansion board. We have 3 SCSI zip drives and all cables, manuals, and
> demo disks. The SU700s are particularly useful for live performance,
> with 10 pads, real time fx tweaking, and ribbon controller. We need to
> sell this gear soon so we can finance our new iBooks!
>
