Ben Davey is a recent graduate with honors in Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Adelaide.
When he’s not at his day job, he’s a fiend for all things shiny, artsy, and geeky; particularly those that involve audio.
In 2008 he created a synthesizer with 3 other friends as part of his final year studies. This project has since been made open-source and he continues to work on new and wacky features for it.

Vinny Bhagat is a percussionist and electronic musician specialising in improvisation and the connection between sound and moving image in a performance context. Since 2005, Vinny has performed under the title Shivna Kaun and has performed around Adelaide and Australia. He also has a strong interest in network performance, and has performed numerous concerts with participants both on local networks and via the internet in Italy.
Vinny has completed a Bachelor of Music Studies with a focus on Music Technology.

Robert Hart is the CEO of SA Group Enterprises, a social enterprise that provides employment for people with a disability. Prior to moving to Adelaide from Sydney in 1995 he was involved in the electronics manufacturing industry for over 15 years. This involvement began with an apprenticeship in electrical fitting, then electronics engineering and then management.
No longer working in the electronics industry, electronics has now become something he does just for fun. As a member and volunteer of Air-Stream Wireless, a community wireless network (CWN), since 2002 he was voted onto the committee in 2004 and since joining has been responsible for building much of the customised electronics and hardware in the network.
Air-Stream Wireless is now Australia’s largest CWN and the experience of working with other enthusiasts has highlighted what a hand-full of people can achieve, inspiring him to become involved in other technology interest groups like Dorkbots. Robert lives with his partner, Ann, and their son and daughter. They also have 2 dogs.

Lynne Sanderson is a digital artist who began her career in 1991 exhibiting her work in dance clubs as SustEnancE. She has exhibited at various dance parties including ‘World Rave’ 1994 and ‘Jeff Mills- A Dirty House Production’ 1997. In 2001-2005 she has VJed in the Boiler Room at the Adelaide Big Day Out. 2005 has also seen her vjing at the launch of the Adelaide Film Festival and a few parties at Sugar Niteclub. In 2006 she was resident VJ at the Persian Garden, the official club of the Adelaide Festival.Currently, she is working with local Adelaide band Supaphatass doing specific visuals for their live gigs.
Lynne has completed a Bachelor of Art(Visual Art) and in between creating art she lectures in media art at various local universities. She has also been a board member of The Australian Network For Art and Technology (ANAT) as has been a peer assessor for local and national funding. Recently she has been a mentor in the Helpmann Academy Mentorship Program.
Lynne is currently interested in developing different ways for people to interact with technology based art. This should be immediate, easy and fun. She is also delving deeper into sleep / dream research and is interested in the secrets the subconcious mind can reveal. Lynne is looking forward to future developments in technology so that the interaction between ideas, art, science and people can become seamless and maleable.

Sebastian Tomczak is a music technologist based in Adelaide, Australia. He is currently studying and teaching at the Electronic Music Unit, University of Adelaide. Sebastian’s main interests include physical interaction with computers for music performance and installation; DIY electronics and aesthetics; chipmusic - being the composition of music using obsolete video game systems as musical instruments; and the effect of constrainsts and limitations on the composition and production of music.
Sebastian has presented papers at a number of national conferences including the Australasian Computer Music Conference 2006 and 2007 and the Japanese Studies Association of Australia Conference 2005. He has also presented a paper and a performance at the International Computer Music Conference 2008 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, has exhibited at Techfest2009 in Mumbai, India and has completed a mentorship under the direction of new media artist, performer and programmer Paul Slocum in Dallas, USA in 2008.
As one half of the electronic music duo Hidden Village, Sebastian has performed at the opening of the 2008 Adelaide Festival of Arts, presented a workshop and lecture at the 2008 Electrofringe and played for capacity crowds in Adelaide and Melbourne. Sebastian has completed a Certificate IV of Audio Engineering and an Honours Degree in Music Studies with a focus on Music Technology.

Martin Victory is a postgraduate student at the Univeristy of Adelaide, specialising in electronic music composition and computer science. His interests include algorithmic synthesis and the sonification of network data.
Martin has completed an Honours Degree in Music Studies with a focus on Music Technology, as well as a Bacehlor of Arts with a focus on computer science and French.
