dorkbot anglia is a regular evening of talks and conversations with "people doing strange things with electricity" in the East Anglian area. We are delighted to announce our eleventh meeting as the guests of Pacitti Company, Ipswich on Thursday 9th May. Entry is free.

The evening will start at 6pm with a screening and then at 7pm David Chatting of the Curiosity Collective and Julia Devonshire of the Pacitti Company introduce:

  • Ed Perkins, who has created a live composition system for instruments and electronics based on a real time social, economic and political model.
  • Mark Langford aka Kiteman, who has recently returned from a trip the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
  • Nat Bocking, who found a lost family album lying in the street in Venice California in around 1992. He will tell us how he traced the people and tells their stories.

Plus, "OpenDorks" (short ad-hoc slots for anyone to talk about their work)
