General questions

• What time are people arriving on the Friday?
  • I'll be there early-afternoon probably. (Bryan)
  • I'll probably travel after work, so arrive about 8ish (alex) additional - now i'm thinking i'll appear earlier, around friday lunchtime
  • I can't come down on Friday, so will be arriving Saturday lunchtime, leaving Sunday evening (Alex Z.)

• I have a small flat but a rather large tent (to compensate). Is that okay? Nothing outré, but certainly bigger than a two man.
  • Yes that's fine, camping space isn't a problem.
• What type of audio plug do we need for the headphone amp?
  • 1/4" jack, i (alex m) have access to a lot of minijack -> jack converters which should cover everyone but if you have a converter bring it along anyway

Questions for the warden

• Is camping in camper vans allowed outside the training centre?
  • yes there's room for a camper van a few metres away

• Do you have a wireless internet connection?
  • Yes, at the merrow centre but not at the training centre. Probably no line of sight between them. They're not sure how far it is - 800 metres/5 minute walk? Lots of trees between. They're happy for us to plug in equipment and do a trial in advance though.

• Kitchen inventory: do we definitely have pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, bowls, big stove, fridge, chest freezer and sink?
  • Yes. They have extras we can use with a £10 deposit as well

• Can we plug stuff into your "Training Centre" network and leave it on at night?
  • I didn't ask but as we can sleep there I can't see it'd be a problem!

• Are day visitors (non-campers) ok? how much would they have to pay?
  • Yes, a couple of pounds (although there won't be room for many day visitors)
  • Is it ok for people to arrive for Saturday and Sunday evenings and leave the next day?
    • Yes, they'll tot up the charges at the end if we keep records
  • Is it ok for people to come and go late at night?
    • Need to check on this but I imagine so if done quietly

• What musical instruments are allowed?
  • Seems fairly open until 11pm when we have to be quieter, but it seems there aren't other camps adjacent to ours so no real worries
