... but even if it said 'dorkbot have a nice day', someone would most likely
be out there with a brush and tin of paint, cursing the sprayer and cursing
dorkbot. I suggest that the symbolism of the time,place,method,material
dominates over that of the content ... the domination of territory by
unseen, anonymous watchers ... this is the meaning of sprayed tags whether
it is 'freedom fighters' or 'street gangs' or 'brown shirts' ... discussing
the orientation of the swastika reminds me of the Roman soldier in 'Life of
Brian' who castigated Brian for declining a verb incorrectly. 

spray painting a swastika on a synagogue, or spray painting a star of david
on a synagogue: which earns more friends among the congregation?
