MATERIALS: Water, multicolored Luxeon LEDs, solenoids, custom electronics and software.

DIMENSIONS: 3' x 3' x 3' tetrahedron, installed overhead

DATE: 2007

DESCRIPTION: Light from the LEDs shines through rippling water, creating hypnotic patterns on the ground.

STATEMENT: Xander Hudson, a Seattle-based artist and active Burner, built Psyphozoa. Seth Shumway had the original idea.
